Rosalind Magenta Olive Floral Silk Jacquard Blouse

A magenta silk jacquard blouse with a floral woven through it in olive green, on a shot weave that shifts between violet and olive as you move. Wear it with black wide-leg trousers and pearls for evening, over dark denim, or tucked into tailoring.

Magenta Olive is the boldest piece in the Rosalind collection. The cloth is a shot jacquard: a magenta-violet ground with a dense floral and trailing-leaf pattern woven in olive green. Because the two colours are woven together rather than printed, the blouse changes as you move — bright magenta where the light falls full on it, deepening to olive and bronze where the silk turns away, so soft vertical bands of colour run down the body.

The Rosalind blouse is cut with a gently gathered shoulder and a full sleeve drawn into a buttoned cuff. The neckline is a simple high round, fastened at the back with a single button above a narrow keyhole — a detail you only see when she turns.

Woven in Vietnam from an 80% silk, 20% viscose jacquard. The silk gives the hand and the lustre; the viscose lends the cloth just enough body to hold the sleeve's volume without ever reading stiff.

Shown with black silk jacquard wide-leg trousers and a strand of pearls. It sits equally well over denim, or tucked into tailoring with the sleeves pushed back.
