Size Guide
Our dresses and clothing are made in UK sizes 8–14 with a relaxed, forgiving fit. The chart below shows body measurements for each size — choose the size closest to your own measurements. If you fall between sizes, most customers take their usual UK size. Still unsure? Email us at info@silkandbears.com and we will happily advise.

Fit notes
- Our maxi dresses fall to approximately 135cm in length.
- The Aurora and Celeste silhouettes have a relaxed, graceful drape; the Seraphine is an oversized cocoon shape and is generously cut.
- Our model is 168cm (5'6") and wears a UK 8–10.
- Because each piece is hand-dyed in small batches, colour carries subtle natural variation from piece to piece.
How to measure
Bust: measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape level. Waist: measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist. Hips: measure around the fullest part of your hips. If in doubt between two sizes, contact us for personal advice.
