Blue-violet silk jacquard wide-leg trousers woven with a small gold flower — shot so the cloth turns from slate blue to warm gold as you move. Wear them to a Christmas party with a soft pink blouse, to dinner with a fine black knit, or with heels to a winter wedding.
Length
82cm inside leg. Cut to fall to the floor on 5'7". If you are 5'4" or under, allow for a hem of around 6cm.
That is roughly 7cm longer than a standard high-street wide leg — deliberately so. A wide-leg trouser is meant to reach the floor, and most are cut short of it. The leg length is the same across every size. See the size guide for waist and hip measurements.

Dusk Gold is woven with two colours in one cloth: a slate blue-violet one way and a warm gold the other. Where the fabric folds towards the light it glows gold; where it falls into shadow it turns cool blue. Over it runs a small gold four-petal flower in an even diagonal grid — the same diamond layout as our Jet Diamond Portia, in a far more festive colourway.
The trouser is cut with a smooth yoke over the hip that releases into soft gathers, so the volume begins below the widest part of the body rather than at the waist — a small piece of engineering that makes a very full leg read as elegant rather than bulky. Elasticated at the back, flat at the front, with side pockets deep enough to actually use.
Woven in Vietnam from an 80% silk, 20% viscose jacquard, and fully lined in 100% viscose. The silk gives the fall and the lustre; the viscose gives the cloth enough weight to hang straight. The lining is what makes the difference in wear — it keeps the trouser completely opaque, stops silk clinging to the leg, and lets the whole thing move as one piece rather than two.
Shown with the multicolour tie-dye silk shirt. Because the cloth shifts between blue and gold, it sits as easily with pinks, ivory and black as it does with gold jewellery.
