Phoenix Paisley Silk Twill Scarf – Printed Mulberry Silk, Hand-Rolled Hem

The paisley is one of the oldest motifs in textile history — born in Persia, carried along trade routes, and reimagined by artisans in every culture it touched. Here it is drawn as a phoenix: wings and tail unfurling into coral, rust and olive scrollwork across a pale blush ground, held inside a fine printed border.

Silk twill has a soft sheen and enough body to hold a knot without slipping, so the scarf keeps its shape across the shoulders and sits neatly at the neck. The blush ground keeps the bolder reds wearable — it lifts cream, camel, navy and denim without competing with them.

Every edge is rolled and stitched by hand — several minutes of work per scarf, and the clearest sign a silk square was not finished by machine.
