White roses on black velvet — there are few pairings in fashion as enduring, or as quietly dramatic. The Noir Rose makes that contrast its whole language.

The gown is cut from deep black silk velvet, a fabric chosen for its weight, its softness and the way its pile turns ordinary light into something richer.

Down the front, a spray of full-bloom roses is embroidered entirely by hand. The blooms are worked in ivory and soft cream, petal over petal, set among sage-and-gold foliage and lifted with small coral-red buds. The arrangement climbs the body like a single cut stem laid against the velvet.

The silhouette is elegant and assured — a slip gown with fine straps and a softly curved neckline, gently fitted through the body to a full maxi length.

Styling. Pearl drop earrings and a pearl necklace sit beautifully against the neckline. Keep shoes simple and tonal. A velvet wrap or stole adds warmth for cooler evenings.
