Not every rainbow shouts. This one whispers — soft blush, powder blue, sage, lavender and pale gold, bleeding into one another in strokes that feel more like a watercolour wash than a bold gesture. It is colour at its most tender.
Hand-painted in Nha Xa, a Vietnamese village that has been weaving and dyeing silk by hand for over 700 years, each scarf is an unrepeatable act of craft. The artisan's hand moves freely across the silk; no two pieces are alike, and none can be exactly replicated.
The base is 100% pure mulberry habotai silk — gossamer-light, naturally lustrous, and impossibly soft against the skin. Worn loosely, it catches the light in a way no printed textile can.

About Silk Habotai
Woven for centuries in Vietnam’s silk villages of Nha Xa and Van Phuc, habotai — “soft as down” — is prized for its featherlight drape and luminous sheen. Each Silk & Bears scarf is hand-dyed by artisans using traditional techniques, so no two pieces are ever identical.
Die Farben des Tuches sind gerade so wie auf den Fotos. Es gefällt mir sehr gut und es passt perfekt zu meiner Garderobe. Gerne wieder!
Lovely lightweight scarf, beautiful colour just as in the photo and described. Thoughtfully packaged in a pretty printed box. Received very quickly. Overall a really good service. One minor point I would prefer the length of the scarf to be slightly longer, my own preference and I find it hard to find a scarf of the perfect length for me. I would recommend Silk and Bears.
Excellent service and excellent product as usual
