A clear chartreuse — the yellow-green of young leaves held against the light. The Citrine Silk Scarf is dyed in a single bath, so the colour deepens and lifts a half-tone across the length wherever the silk gathered in the vat. Against black, navy or deep green it is the brightest thing in the room.

Hand-dyed by artisans in Nha Xa — Vietnam's 700-year-old silk-weaving village. The cloth is drawn through the dye by hand and then dried on bamboo frames in open air, which is what gives the surface its fine lengthways crinkle and its uneven, living sheen.

Woven from 100% pure mulberry habotai silk, it is light enough to disappear into a clutch and generous enough to cover the shoulders through a long evening.
