Vanity Fair

Our most sustained campaign to date — running across three consecutive issues of Vanity Fair UK.

Through the summer of 2026, Silk & Bears ran a fashion campaign across three consecutive issues of Vanity Fair UK — June, July/August and September. It was a brand campaign of our own, and our most sustained to date.

Three issues allowed the story to unfold slowly, which felt right for a brand whose whole character is unhurried: hand-dyed mulberry silk, and the artisans behind it, given room to be properly seen.

The thinking behind it

“Hand-dyed silk is a slow craft. A campaign across a whole season felt like the honest way to tell it — without rushing.”

Silk & Bears is a small, founder-led house: designed in England’s Peak District, hand-dyed by artisan partners in the historic Vietnamese silk village of Nha Xa. Every scarf is dyed individually, so no two are ever quite alike, and every order arrives gift-boxed as standard.

The campaign was an introduction, not an arrival. The work itself — the slow, considered making of each piece — is the part we would always rather let speak.
